  • Reference - Books may not be borrowed.  They must be used within the Library
  • Reserves  - Not all Reserves are listed in the Online Catalog.  Faculty members may supplement this collection with their personal copies.  All Reserves are housed in the Librarian's Office.  They may be borrowed for a two (2) hour period
  • Circulation Books may be borrowed for a two (2) week period.  If there is no waiting list, they may be renewed for two (2) additional weeks
  • Interlibrary Loans - Interlibrary Loans Messenger Service is not available within the various sites
  • Electronic Resources - See Finding Information
  • Tutorials, Instruction and Workshops  - Classroom instruction is available at the invitation of the faculty.  Limited help is available during hours of operation 


  • Food and drink are not permitted with the exception of approved receptacles and Shaw events
  • Children are not permitted in the Library, except when accompanied by an adult
  • Cell phones and radios are prohibited
  • Use of the Media Room (located between the shelves and office) is scheduled by the CAPE Director
  • The Computer Room is supervised by the CAPE Director. It is equipped with computers, printers and a copier
